Elgin planning and zoning commissioners approved a petition on Monday from Jane & Buds Cannabis Dispensary to open a second recreational cannabis store at the old Boston Market on S.

Randall Road. Owner Matthew Hagglund said his company will invest up to $800,000 in renovations including new sidewalks and landscaping as the proposal waits for city council review.
