Elgin will host a virtual meeting on September 17 at 6 p.m. to explain the DuPage Street Combined Sewer Separation Project—which will install new storm sewers, improve sanitary sewers, replace water mains and lead service lines—while construction starts this month with underground utility work and continues through late 2025 and summer 2026 until completed by the end of July.
