  • The Rotary Club of Elgin is hosting its free end-of-summer event Summer’s Last Hurrah at Panton Mill Park in South Elgin on Sept. 6 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The event will feature a Touch-A-Truck + library bookmobile + craft fair, kids fest, live music, pet parade and raffle to support local scholarships and programs.  Daily Herald
