The Lombard resident brings over 20 years of nonprofit experience and most recently led a $50 million campaign at Lewis University—her appointment supports the Food Bank’s mission to help end hunger in the region. - ➤ Gail Borden Public Library District in downtown Elgin will host the grand opening of its newly renovated KidSpace on Tuesday, May 13, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Main Library, 270 N. Grove Ave, where visitors can explore hands-on play areas, crafts, and live music + receive a special giveaway for the first 200 guests.
