- ➤ Kane County State's Attorney Jamie Mosser announced Monday that a new unit was launched to investigate human trafficking, focusing on both sex and labor trafficking and providing victim support, with a team that includes two investigators, a forensics investigator, two victims' advocates, a civil resources attorney, and a criminal prosecutor led by first assistant state’s attorney Christine Bayer and funded by a $1 million one-year state grant. - ➤ Elgin is accepting applications for its paid STEAM Summer Internship Program for high school juniors and seniors who live in the city. Interns will work in city departments on projects such as IT support and animal care at Lords Park Zoo (30 hours per week) from June 9 to August 8 and earn $15 per hour. City of Elgin
