- ➤ Kane County State's Attorney Jamie Mosser announced Monday that a new unit was launched to investigate human trafficking, focusing on both sex and labor trafficking and providing victim support, with a team that includes two investigators, a forensics investigator, two victims' advocates, a civil resources attorney, and a criminal prosecutor led by first assistant state’s attorney Christine Bayer and funded by a $1 million one-year state grant. - ➤ Elgin is accepting applications for its paid STEAM Summer Internship Program for high school juniors and seniors who live in the city.
